Shanghai Songjiang Vibration Absorber Co., Ltd. warmly welcomes the leadership of the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, for their guidance. In March, the Songjiang Group’s Nantong factory welcomed an important customer who conducted a comprehensive understanding of our factory’s rubber expansion joint products, raw materials, production processes, testing procedures, and automated equipment. The customer’s visit was well-received and highly praised.
The Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is a comprehensive research base in China engaged in high-energy physics research, advanced accelerator physics and technology research and development, and advanced radiation technology and applications. Its predecessor, the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was established in 1950, later renamed the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Atomic Energy Research. In February 1973, following Premier Zhou Enlai’s instructions, the High Energy Institute was established based on a section of the Institute of Atomic Energy Research.
As of July 2014, the institute had approximately 1400 employees, including about 1100 professional and technical personnel. It has a branch in Dongguan, Guangdong, occupying an area of more than 460 acres. It has seven research units and more than 470 graduate students and over 50 postdoctoral fellows.
