Screw Chiller Unit Spring Vibration Isolators Introduction:

The water-cooled screw chiller unit is a type of chiller unit that employs a screw compressor as its main component. Due to the use of a screw compressor, it is named a water-cooled screw chiller unit. Its range of chilled water outlet temperatures is 3°C to 20°C, making it suitable for various industrial processes that require chilled water, such as plastics, electroplating, electronics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, printing, and food processing. It is also used in central air conditioning projects in large shopping malls, hotels, factories, hospitals, and other areas where centralized chilled water supply is needed.

During the refrigeration process, the compressor draws low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant from the evaporator into the cylinder. After the compressor does work, the refrigerant vapor is compressed into high-temperature, high-pressure gas and enters the condenser through the exhaust pipe. In the condenser, the high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant gas undergoes heat exchange with cooling water, transferring heat to the cooling water, while the refrigerant gas condenses into high-pressure liquid. The high-pressure liquid leaving the condenser enters the evaporator after throttling and pressure reduction through the thermal expansion valve. In the evaporator, the low-pressure liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the chilled water, vaporizing and cooling the chilled water to the required low temperature. The vaporized refrigerant gas is then suctioned back into the compressor for compression and discharge into the condenser, repeating the cycle continuously to achieve the purpose of continuous refrigeration.

The chilled water leaving the unit enters indoor terminal devices such as fan coils and variable air volume air handlers. It undergoes heat exchange with the indoor convective air, releasing heat to the indoor air. During this process, the water temperature rises due to absorbing heat from the indoor air (heat dissipation to indoor air), while the indoor air, after passing through the indoor heat exchanger, experiences a temperature drop. Driven by the fan, the air is then delivered into the indoor space, thereby reducing the indoor air temperature. The chilled water, now at an elevated temperature, re-enters the unit with the assistance of the water pump, and the cycle continues to achieve continuous cooling.
