1. Introduction to Wujiang No. 1 High School:
The expansion and renovation project for Songling No. 1 High School is located within the original Wujiang Vocational Senior High School, to the north of Youche Road and west of Zhongying Avenue, with a planned land area of 99 acres. The total investment for the project is approximately 70 million yuan, with the goal of transforming the school into a 48-class, 16-track junior high school.
The campus renovation plan includes the construction of teaching buildings, experimental buildings, comprehensive buildings, libraries, auditoriums, sports halls, canteens, plastic playgrounds, parking lots, security rooms, and gates. The total demolition area is 9,719 square meters, the reinforcement area is 17,029 square meters, and the new construction area is 5,600 square meters.
The project is currently in the early planning and design stage, with a planned completion date in September 2015.
Wujiang Songling Senior High School was originally the high school department of Wujiang Songling No. 1 High School. In 2001, in response to urbanization strategies and adjustments in high school layout policies, the school applied to the city government to build a new high school campus. After investigation by the municipal party committee and government, it was decided that the former Wujiang City Fan School would be exchanged for Songling No. 1 High School. At the same time, the school also acquired the use rights of the Municipal Supply and Marketing Vocational School and the Municipal People’s Stadium.
