A. On-site Conditions:
Floating and Friction: The floating bridge adjusts with the rise and fall of the Yangtze River water level, causing the pipes laid on it to stretch, bend, and experience friction at contact points.Vertical Floating: The highest water level of the Yangtze River is 175 meters, the lowest is 145 meters, with a maximum elevation difference of 30 meters.
Outdoor Exposure: As the rubber flexible connection pipes are installed outdoors, they are exposed to factors such as sunlight, temperature variations, and sandstorms. The Yangtze River area is subject to strong natural winds, causing potential harm to the hoses.
Temperature: The highest temperature throughout the year is 40°C, with 6 months (May to October) of prolonged exposure to sunlight. The lowest temperature is 0°C, posing risks of freezing damage to the hoses.
Swinging: Frequent movement of bulk carriers, mooring of cargo ships, wind, and waves can lead to swinging of the vessels and, consequently, movement of the pipes.

C. Manufacturing Requirements:

Both ends of the flange (one end is a movable flange) should be welded to carbon steel pipes (thickness not less than 6mm) and vulcanized with rubber, with a length greater than 500mm.
D. Manufacturing and Inspection Standards:
The products provided by the bidding party must meet the on-site conditions specified in Section A. Water pressure tests must be conducted before leaving the factory, and a water pressure test report must be provided to the client. Additionally, on-site water pressure tests should be performed after the product arrives.
The bidder should provide a “Safety, Use, and Maintenance Manual.”

E. Warranty Terms:
The warranty period for the supplied equipment is one year from the date of production.
In case of any quality issues during the warranty period, the bidder must provide free maintenance. The bidder must arrive at the installation site within 48 hours after receiving notification from the client.
