The Xiamen Tianma Project utilizes rubber expansion joints from Songjiang Group
In June 2015,Shanghai Songjiang Vibration Absorber Co.,Ltd. provided rubber expansion joint products for the Xiamen Tianma Project, primarily used for HVAC pipelines to reduce vibration and noise. Xiamen Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. was established through a joint venture between four enterprises: China Aviation Industry Corporation under China Aviation Technology International Holdings Limited, China Aviation Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., China Aviation Technology (Xiamen) Co., Ltd., and Xiamen Jinc Investment Co., Ltd. Located at No. 6999 Xiang’an West Road, Xiang’an District, Xiamen City, the company was registered in March 2011 in the Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone with a registered capital of 8.8 billion yuan. It is the enterprise with the largest registered capital in the Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone and has been one of the key projects in Fujian Province and Xiamen City for three consecutive years from 2011 to 2013. With an initial investment of 7 billion yuan, Xiamen Tianma established the first 5.5th generation LTPS TFT-LCD and CF production line in the Xiamen Torch (Xiang’an) Industrial Zone, which is the first in China and the second globally. In December 2012, the first LCD panel was successfully produced. After the project is fully operational, it will process 360,000 array glass substrates annually. The products are widely used in mobile terminals, automotive displays, entertainment displays, industrial instruments, office displays, and other small to medium-sized high-end display markets.
The Xiamen Tianma project is another significant endeavor in the Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone’s efforts to create a cluster of the optoelectronic industry worth hundreds of billions and strengthen the country’s only pilot base for the optoelectronic display industry cluster. After completion and production, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of over 6 billion yuan, driving the development of upstream industries such as LCD materials and stimulating the development of downstream industries such as consumer electronics and automotive displays. It will attract a group of supporting companies, form an industrial cluster effect, and promote the development of Xiamen’s optoelectronic industry.
