It can achieve an annual output value of 400 million yuan, replace 91 small boilers with high energy consumption and pollution in the development zone, save 200,000 tons of coal, reduce smoke and dust emissions by 175 tons, and reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by 1,713 tons. The completion and operation of the cogeneration project are conducive to attracting investment in the development zone, Binhu New Area, and Feixi County, as well as the improvement of the level and scale of infrastructure. It is also an important part of Hefei’s “Three Promotions,” the construction of an “Ecological Hefei,” and the development of a “Conservation-Oriented Society.”
The total investment in the project is about 1 billion yuan, with a land area of around 260 acres.
