In 2018, Xianhailong Bay introduced the Sheraton International five-star hotel, expected to open around 2020. Sheraton was among the earliest international hotel brands to enter China. The Sheraton Mianyang Xianhailong Bay is invested and constructed by Mianyang Shoukai Xingtai Real Estate Co., Ltd., located at the core of the Xianhai Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Mianyang City. The Xianhai Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a water conservancy scenic area in Sichuan Province, consisting of 46 peninsulas with a forest coverage rate of 90%, boasting beautiful lake landscapes and a natural ecological environment. It offers various recreational experiences such as the Parent-Child Bay Theme Park, lake tours, cycling around the lake, beach walks, and tail surfing. From Chengdu, it takes just 40 minutes by high-speed train to reach Mianyang. The hotel is approximately a 40-minute drive from Nankai Airport and Mianyang High-speed Railway Station.
