It is the fifth major base for Beiqi Group after North China, South China, Southwest China, and Central China. The planned total investment for Beiqi (Zhenjiang) Automotive Co., Ltd. is CNY 15 billion. The construction is divided into two phases: the first phase focuses on producing SUVs and MPVs with an annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles, targeting the East China region and the national mid-to-high-end consumer market. The second phase aims to produce mid-to-high-end passenger cars, new energy vehicles, and core components, with a total planned capacity exceeding 300,000 vehicles. In 2015, the construction of Beiqi Zhenjiang Base was completed, and on December 30, the first vehicle rolled off the production line.
Production of BJ20 as the First Model:
The BJ20, a new generation A+ class SUV, is the first model produced by Beiqi (Zhenjiang) Automotive Co., Ltd. It inherits Beiqi’s off-road culture, featuring a rugged and bold urban style. It is expected to achieve Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) by mid-2016.

The Beiqi Zhenjiang factory covers a total construction area of 190,000 square meters. The stamping workshop employs two flexible production lines that can quickly switch between various part molds, allowing for the production of parts for multiple vehicle models. The welding workshop has seven fully automated production lines, utilizing 156 welding and handling robots, achieving an automation rate of 80%.
