The Yalong River mainstream from Gaya Temple to the river mouth plans to develop 21 levels. The natural drop is 2,845 meters, the installed capacity is 28.56 million kW, and the annual power generation is 151.636 billion kWh.
The Yalong River Hydropower Base is one of the 13 planned hydropower bases in the country.
