Huanggang Dabieshan Power Generation Co., Ltd. was registered and established on December 17, 2003, with the Hubei Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce. Its legal representative is Zhou Dong. The company’s business scope includes the construction, ownership, and operation of power plants, as well as the production and sale of electricity and related by-products.
Huanggang Dabieshan Power Generation Co., Ltd. is affiliated with China Power Investment Corporation (referred to as CPI), a subsidiary of China Power International Development Limited. The Phase I project comprises two 640MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units, both of which were commissioned in October 2008, and its operational performance has steadily improved. The Phase II expansion project involves the construction of two 660MW ultra-ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units, currently under construction and expected to be operational by 2018, with promising development prospects.
The company is located in Macheng City, Hubei Province. Situated in the middle section of the Dabie Mountains in central China, Macheng is at the southern foot of the Dabie Mountains, at the junction of the provinces of Hubei, Henan, and Anhui. It is a regional center city in the Wuhan urban circle plan and a comprehensive transportation hub.
