1. Introduction to the Ningde Nuclear Power Project:

The Ningde Nuclear Power Station is located in Tailaoshan Town, Fuding City, under the jurisdiction of Ningde City. It is approximately 32 km south of Fuding City, facing the East China Sea to the east and overlooking the Qingchuan Bay to the north. The planned construction involves six million-kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power units. The project is planned and constructed in phases. The first phase of the project is planned to use the CPR1000 technology with an independent brand owned by China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), and it involves the construction of four million-kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power units. On September 1, 2006, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the preliminary work for the first phase of the Ningde Nuclear Power Station. The main project officially started on February 18, 2008. The first unit of the Ningde Nuclear Power Station began commercial operation on April 15, 2013, and units 2, 3, and 4 were successively put into operation between 2014 and 2016. The four units of the first phase were completed on July 21, 2016. On December 28, 2010, the technical personnel of the Ningde Nuclear Power Station used China’s first independently developed full-scope simulator for nuclear power plants.
