With a total investment of 3 billion yuan, it covers an area of 167 acres and has a construction area of over 300,000 square meters, with a planned capacity of over 20,000 cabinets. The project is divided into four phases of construction, with an investment of approximately 700 million yuan in the first phase, which was officially completed and put into operation in April 2017.
The first phase has a capacity of 1,225 cabinets, making it the largest and highest specification five-star professional computer room in South China.
Once all four phases of the Eastern Guangdong Data Center are completed, it will be able to accommodate approximately 200,000 to 300,000 servers.
Building Construction:
The building construction adopts international T3+ high-standard construction standards, with a seismic resistance rating of 8, and is equipped with a professional team on duty 24/7 for maintenance.
Power Supply for Computer Room:
The computer room has access to 2 substations and 4 mains power sources. In addition to the UPS power supply that can last for 30 minutes, the building is also equipped with 12 sets of 2000KW high-voltage diesel generators and a 100m underground oil depot with a storage capacity to power the generators for 8 hours. Long-term emergency fuel supply agreements are signed with oil stations to ensure stable power supply.
Cooling System:
The main cooling system adopts a central water-cooled air conditioning system, supplemented by split-type air conditioning units, to ensure that the operating temperature of the main computer room remains in the range of 23±1°C, with humidity maintained at 40%-55%, constant temperature, constant humidity, and no condensation.
The Guangdong Mobile Eastern Guangdong Data Center has obtained security certification from the National Internet Emergency Center and Level 3 information system security certification, making it the largest and highest security-rated data center in South China.
