The outer tank has a diameter of approximately 82 meters, with a wall height of approximately 38 meters, while the inner tank can store 160,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas at a super-low temperature of -162 degrees Celsius.
The tank hoisting utilizes the micro-pressure air floatation technology, lifting the pre-fabricated super-heavyweight arched steel tank top (approximately 610 tons) from the ground smoothly and continuously along the inner wall of the concrete outer tank to a height of 38 meters, where it is connected to the pressure-bearing ring of the outer tank.
The Fujian LNG station line project is a key project of the Fujian LNG overall project and one of the largest liquefied natural gas projects in China that is entirely introduced, constructed, and managed by domestic enterprises. It is jointly invested and constructed by China National Offshore Oil Corporation and Fujian Investment and Development Corporation. The project consists of engineering works such as docks, receiving stations, and gas transmission trunk lines. The construction scale of the first phase is to receive 2.6 million tons of LNG annually, with a total investment of approximately 6.2 billion yuan.
