1.Shanghai Metro Line 9 Introduction:
Shanghai Metro Line 9, the sixth completed and operational metro line in Shanghai, China, commenced operation of its Phase I project (from Songjiang Xincheng Station to Guilin Road Station) on December 29, 2007. Subsequently, it opened other segments including the Phase I residual section, Phase II project, Phase II residual section, Phase III southward extension, and Phase III eastward extension. The line is identified by its light blue color.
Shanghai Metro Line 9 runs in a northeast-southwest direction, starting from Songjiang South Station in the southwest of Shanghai’s Songjiang District, passing through Minhang District, Xuhui District, and Huangpu District, and terminating at Caolu Station in Pudong New Area in the northeast.
