Located within the Chimelong Tourist Resort, Chimelong Panda Hotel faces south towards the Joy World parking lot and the International Circus, with a 13m distance to the west to the Chimelong staff dormitories, 30m north to Changgang Mountain Villa, and 70m to the South China Training Center and Huamei International.

The environmental protection bureau’s planning announcement reveals some details.
The hotel’s total investment is 1.2 billion yuan, covering approximately 80,000 square meters of land with a construction area of about 120,000 square meters. Construction commenced in July of this year. It will be 13 stories high and will feature 1,361 guest rooms along with 367 parking spaces.
