Ahai Hydropower Station is the fourth cascade of the ‘One Reservoir, Eight Cascades’ development scheme recommended in the ‘Hydropower Development Plan for the Middle Reaches of the Jinsha River’. It is connected to the upstream Lixian Hydropower Station and adjacent to the downstream Jin’anqiao Hydropower Station, serving as one of the important power sources in the Jinsha River hydropower base. The maximum dam height of the project is 130 meters, with a total reservoir capacity of 882 million cubic meters and effective storage capacity of 218 million cubic meters, possessing daily regulation capabilities. The total installed capacity of the power station is 2 million kW, with an average annual power generation of 8.877 billion kWh and a static investment of approximately 13.6 billion yuan.

Ahai Hydropower Station is located in the middle reaches of the Jinsha River, at the junction of Yulong County and Ninglang County in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, serving as one of the important power sources in the Jinsha River hydropower base. The project mainly involves the construction of technical prevention engineering for the anti-terrorism security precaution system, surveillance zone, and protection zone of Ahai Hydropower Station, providing technical means for counter-terrorism. The system mainly includes: high-definition video surveillance system, emergency broadcast system, alarm and intrusion prevention system, access control system, monitoring center room engineering, internal communication system, anti-terrorism prevention and control technical defense system, etc. The project significantly improves the anti-terrorism level of the hydropower station through technical prevention measures, playing an active role in ensuring the safe production of the power station.
